Three ways to price an offer
Use a percentage discount, deduct a fixed amount from each item, or set a fixed price for a pack. Choose the method that makes your quantity offer easiest to understand.
A €24 product with a 10% discount at two items costs €43.20. At three items with 20% off, the total is €57.60. The selector shows the total, unit price and savings before the customer adds it to the cart.
Variations count together
Offer quantity discounts on simple and variable products. When variation counting is enabled, quantities from different variations of the same product can reach one shared tier.
One size S and two size M T-shirts make three items. Their combined quantity can qualify for the same offer, while each variation remains a separate WooCommerce cart item.
Pricing follows the cart
The discount is calculated from the total product quantity in the cart, rather than relying on a previously selected card. Changing the quantity or removing a variation updates the applicable offer.
Bundle details are shown in the cart and carried into the order and emails. Customers and store teams can see which quantity offer was applied.
Global or product-specific tiers
Create default tiers in WooCommerce settings, then choose which products use them. For products with different margins or prices, switch to a custom set of tiers.
Bundles are disabled by default. Enabling them on one product does not apply quantity pricing to unrelated products in your catalogue.
Compare the discount types
These examples show three different pricing strategies. They are sample offers, not promises about your store’s results.
| Discount type | Example | Pack total |
|---|---|---|
| Percentage | 3 × €24, with 20% off | €57.60 |
| Amount off each item | 3 × €18, with €3 off each item | €45.00 |
| Fixed pack price | 3 × €12, pack set to €30 | €30.00 |

Make the selector feel part of your store
Configure the card background, border colour, border width, corner radius and accent colour. The selector inherits the theme’s font. Add labels and badges that explain your offers clearly, such as “Save 10%”.
Keep the prices readable and use a visible selected state. A badge should describe a real saving or a deliberate recommendation; avoid calling an offer “most popular” without supporting data.
Current prices, stock and coupons
Quantity discounts start from the current product price, including sale prices. WooCommerce stock, sold-individually restrictions and applicable quantity limits are respected. An optional setting prevents coupons from applying to bundle items.
Check the combined effect of sale prices and quantity offers before enabling a product. A generous discount can be clear to the customer while still needing a margin check by the store owner.
Compatibility and scope
BundleTiers requires WordPress 6.5+, WooCommerce 8.5+ and PHP 7.4+. It declares compatibility with HPOS and Cart/Checkout Blocks. This local demonstration uses WordPress 7.1.3, WooCommerce 11.1.2 and a Storefront child theme with a classic cart.
The plugin is free and open source under GPL-2.0-or-later. Review the source code and documentation, and test your own theme and extensions on staging before launch.
